History
Founded in 1971 by five people who dreamed of a community chorus open to all without audition. The first concert on May 18, 1971 featured 75 voices performing Brahms and Handel. Over decades the chorus has performed over 180 works, commissioned new pieces, and maintained a core of returning singers supported by the Athens and UGA community.
