Senior citizens in Bengaluru giving back through education and humanitarian care programs.
Founded in 2002 by senior citizens who wanted to give back to society after long careers, Seniors for Change is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and destitute individuals in Bengaluru. The organization runs structured, professionally managed education initiatives across multiple government institutions, touching the lives of over two thousand children each year. Programs include merit scholarships with professional mentoring, model school transformations with remedial classes, yoga, and co-curricular activities, and digital education efforts equipped with computer labs and NIIT-certified training. In addition to educational support, Seniors for Change extends its humanitarian mission by funding food, healthcare, and infrastructure at the AiR Humanitarian Home, providing dignity and care to 180-plus destitute children and elders. Guided by a commitment to creating opportunities for those who need them most, the community of volunteers, donors, and members works to shape the next generation of leaders and offer relief to the vulnerable through dedicated service.
