Grow Billion Trees in Bhilai plants trees across India with tech-driven care.

Grow Billion Trees is an environmental NGO with a growing presence in Bhilai and across Chhattisgarh, driven by a mission to plant 100 crore trees across India by June 2030 to combat climate change through collective action. Its model combines technology, community involvement, and long-term ecological care, notably through a 2–3 foot tree planting program backed by three years of care and GeoTag tracking that lets individuals and corporates monitor their trees in real time. In Bhilai, the organisation runs Miyawaki urban forests, agroforestry programs for local farmers, and mangrove restoration initiatives, while also engaging in beach cleaning, lake restoration, and sustainability education. The agroforestry programs supported over 500 farming families with eco-friendly livelihood solutions in 2026. Tree survival is guaranteed through structured care protocols and community stewardship. For businesses pursuing net-zero targets, Grow Billion Trees offers structured programs with certified impact reporting aligned with ESG standards. Supporters can plant a tree in their name and receive a personalised certificate, making it a meaningful eco-friendly gift.
