Die Gemeindegeschichte reicht bis ins 17. Jahrhundert zurück, als Gottesdienste in Schloss Tonndorf stattfanden. Seit 1816 wurde die St.-Anna-Kirche genutzt, die vermutlich 1503 als Annenkapelle errichtet wurde. 1970 konnte die Kirche erworben und umgestaltet werden.
