Jaranan Eklek
Jaranan Eklek is a traditional dance form originating from Blitar, Jawa Timur. It is based on the story of Raden Panji Asmoro Bangun and reflects the strong, yet humorous character of the Blitar people. This dance is performed with a unique style, featuring female dancers, gamelan music, and expressive movements.

History
Jaranan Eklek was created in 1987 to meet the demands of a provincial dance competition. It has been passed down through generations and is now a well-preserved traditional dance of Blitar. The dance was developed by local artist Bu Munarsih to differentiate it from other Javanese dances in East Java.
