Brisbane Local Peer Support Group

The Brisbane Local Peer Support Group, hosted by the Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN), is a welcoming space for people with disability in the Brisbane area to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Facilitated by Group Convenors Brendon and Paul, the group meets monthly to foster mutual empowerment and advocacy, ensuring members feel heard and valued. Meetings provide an opportunity to discuss challenges, celebrate successes, and build a stronger community together. Whether attending in person at the QDN office or joining via Zoom, participants can engage at their own pace without the need for an RSVP. Light refreshments are offered for those who attend in person, creating a comfortable and inclusive environment. This group is open to anyone who can benefit from peer support and values the strength that comes from shared understanding.
