Die Tanzgruppe „Simchat Hora“ (hebr. „Freude am Kreistanz“) tanzt über 70 kulturell-ethnische Tänze mit Elementen aus verschiedenen jüdischen Volkstraditionen wie chassidische, jemenitische, osteuropäische und Klezmer. Sie ist eine in Chemnitz einzigartige Gruppe, die 2004 entstand und die Zuschauer mit Musik und Tanz zu den historischen Wurzeln entführt. Die Tänze sind oft rhythmisch und temperamentvoll, auch die mit biblischem Inhalt.
