Access Living is the Chicago Center for Independent Living, a disability consumer-controlled nonprofit.

Access Living serves as the Center for Independent Living (CIL) for the City of Chicago. As a local, disability consumer-controlled, cross-disability, non-residential, private nonprofit, the organization engages in systems advocacy at local, state, and national levels while coordinating with a wide range of policymakers. Their mission is to ignite disability power and pride, provide critical services, and break down systemic barriers to create a stronger, more inclusive society.
