Allegro, a beginner choir in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood.

Allegro is the entry‑level ensemble of the Beverly Neighborhood Choir in Chicago, offering singers a welcoming place to explore choral music. The group holds an open house where prospective members can learn about the choir’s mission to inspire and change lives through musical excellence, meet current families, and hear firsthand how the program builds lifelong friendships and strong community ties. Rehearsals run Monday evenings from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Allegro singers, with the intermediate Vivace/Presto group meeting from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. New singers are encouraged to sign up through the choir’s website at unitingvoiceschicago.org/join. Whether you are new to singing or looking to deepen your choral experience, Allegro provides a supportive environment for developing vocal skills while connecting with the vibrant Beverly neighborhood.
