Chicago Game Lovers hosts recurring board game meetups featuring strategy games, Scrabble, and casual play across Chicago.

Chicago Game Lovers organizes a variety of regular board game gatherings throughout the Chicago area. The group runs a Monday evening series called Serious Strategy, which has featured titles such as New Angeles, Avalon, and Battlestar Galactica, typically starting around 6:00 PM. On Wednesdays, they host a Board Game Night at the Dojo beginning at 4:00 PM, offering a more casual play environment. Additionally, the group coordinates a weekly Sunday Scrabble meetup in Evanston starting at 2:30 PM. Events are listed with a 4.7 rating and show modest attendance, often with a few open seats or a waitlist. The schedule suggests a focus on both strategic tabletop games and lighter word games, providing multiple weekly opportunities for players to join in person.
