Chicago Swedish Fish Masters Swim Team is a social fitness-oriented swimming club in northside Chicago.

The Chicago Swedish Fish Masters Swim Team is a social fitness-oriented club based in northside Chicago, welcoming adult swimmers of all ages and abilities. Practices are split between Galter LifeCenter and various pools throughout the northside, including Northside College Prep and Loyola University Halas Recreation Center. Galter LifeCenter offers year-round sessions on Mondays through Saturdays, while Northside College Prep and Loyola University host fall practices from September 20 to December 17, 2026. Membership or drop-in fees apply to team practices at Northside College Prep and Loyola University; drop-ins are $15 and reserved for new swimmers and visitors, with payments required prior to deck entry via Zelle, Venmo, or check. A current United States Masters Swimming (USMS) membership is mandatory for swimming at Northside College Prep, Loyola University, or competing with the team, though it is not required for Galter LifeCenter. The team is one of the largest and most accomplished Illinois Master's swim clubs, having ranked in the top three at Illinois State Championships in recent years, including a first-place finish in 2019. The team participates in three SWED Team Meets between January and April, with additional USMS-sanctioned meets available throughout the region.
