Elevated Chicago is a community group in Logan Square, Chicago focused on sustainability and equity.

Elevated Chicago is a coalition of organizations including Palenque LSNA, LUCHA, and the Center for Changing Lives (CCL) working to address gentrification and displacement in Logan Square, Chicago. The group operates within a neighborhood marked by stark contrasts, where rapid development and rising rents have displaced thousands of long-time residents, particularly the Latinx community, while new luxury housing and commercial projects emerge. Their mission is to balance opportunities for change with the preservation of community stability, character, and culture, fostering collaboration between longtime and newer residents. Key initiatives include establishing a community land trust to protect affordable housing, advocating for transit-oriented development that prioritizes affordable units over luxury condos, and securing Community Benefits Agreements to ensure local hiring and fair wages. The coalition has also focused on youth leadership to increase transparency in zoning procedures and created cultural spaces, such as a mural celebrating Latinx heritage, to amplify neighborhood identity. By facilitating intentional collaboration and sharing strategies across organizations, Elevated Chicago aims to ensure that redevelopment serves the needs of all residents and promotes racial equity alongside environmental sustainability.
