Mom & Baby Classes, led by licensed occupational therapist Armi Grace Petersen, provide expert support for mothers in Orland Park, Burr Ridge, Lyons, and the greater Chicago area. These groups focus on empowering postpartum moms by teaching simple, realistic ways to interact with their babies and understand developmental milestones. The program offers four distinct sessions: Learn How to Play With Your Baby for infants 0–12 months, Playful Toddlers for children 1–3 years, Starting Solids for introducing first bites to babies 5–12 months, and Connect & Play for a casual, low-pressure playgroup. Each class is held at Faith United Methodist Church in Orland Park or Le Village Co Work in Lyons. Participants receive guidance on tummy time, rolling, crawling, feeding routines, and managing toddler behavior, with all necessary toys provided. The classes are judgment-free spaces where moms can connect with others, ask questions, and build confidence in their parenting roles without feeling overwhelmed. Registration fees vary by class, covering two adults and the baby, and sessions are non-refundable due to limited space and advance planning requirements.
