Music Playhouse of Chicago offers early childhood music classes for babies and toddlers in Chicago.

Music Playhouse of Chicago provides research-based, fun early childhood music education classes for children from birth to five years old. The organization utilizes play-based techniques, gamification, and hands-on interactive activities to present musical concepts in a relatable and engaging manner. Programs are designed to keep students excited to learn while fostering development across various domains. In addition to the main Music Playhouse location, the broader Chicago area offers numerous complementary options for infants and toddlers, including Little Gym's parent and child classes for early development, Music House Chicago's Music Together curriculum in Humboldt Park, and The Paintbrush's art-focused Little ART Explorers. Other notable providers in the region include Rock 'n' Kids, which offers Baby Rock and Tot Rock programs focusing on rhythm and coordination; Purple Monkey Playroom, which provides STEAM, language, and cultural enrichment classes; and Oui Chef, which teaches culinary skills starting at 18 months. Parents can also explore options at Merit School of Music, Brain Builders' Reggio Emilia-inspired STEAM classes, and Skip and Scoot's holistic movement programs across neighborhoods like Lincoln Park and Lakeview. These diverse offerings collectively support critical first three years of development through structured yet playful learning environments.
