The Center for Seniors - Lincoln Center opened its doors in September 1993 with just seven participants and three volunteers, including a registered dietitian, social worker, and nurse, located on the seventh floor of Uptown National Bank on Lawrence and Broadway in Chicago. Recognizing the urgent need for adult day services for Korean seniors in the Uptown community, the Center grew rapidly. Over the past 25 years, it has expanded to four facilities while maintaining individualized attention and care. Today, the Center serves a total membership of 400 participants, with an average daily census of 200 participants. It employs 30-plus staff members and a board of directors who remain committed to the caring of elderly clients. The organization is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of its senior population through comprehensive support services.
