Purkal Youth Development Society empowers impoverished youth in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Purkal Youth Development Society works to identify and support impoverished young people from Uttarakhand, with a particular focus on those living in geographically isolated areas who show potential to become change agents in their communities. The organization aims to emancipate these individuals and, through them, their families and wider communities from the cycle of poverty. By fostering hope and creating pathways for leadership, the society seeks to bring light to those most in need. Based in Dehradun, the group operates across the region to reach candidates who might otherwise be overlooked, emphasizing empowerment and sustainable transformation. Its mission centers on unlocking the latent leadership within disadvantaged youth, enabling them to drive positive change from within their own environments and to inspire broader community uplift.
