Dubai Creek Striders
A running club founded in 1995 by Malcolm Murphy, starting with Friday runs at Dubai World Trade Centre. Now with over 500 members, it hosts the annual DCS Half Marathon and 10K races along Dubai Creek.

In the early 1990s, a group of enthusiastic runners met every Friday at the Dubai World Trade Centre for runs around Dubai Creek. Under the guidance of Malcolm ‘Murph’ Murphy, they established the Dubai Creek Striders running club in 1995.
