Coodu Trust in Erode coordinates volunteer work for rural development across Tamil Nadu.

Coodu Trust engages volunteers in hands‑on field work and community engagement with rural communities across Tamil Nadu, focusing on watershed development, organic farming, and women’s empowerment programs. Since 2000, its field team has operated in over 30 districts, offering opportunities for people with a few hours a week or longer‑term commitments to contribute to sustainable development and community empowerment. Volunteers can apply professional expertise in areas such as accounting, marketing, IT, legal, or project management to strengthen organizational capacity, conduct workshops and training sessions for farmers and women’s groups, support digital communications through social media, content creation, photography, videography, and website management, organize fundraising events and awareness campaigns, and assist with research, documentation, impact assessments, and monitoring and evaluation. The trust welcomes individuals to join a community of passionate volunteers creating measurable change in rural Tamil Nadu.
