lab work

The program recruits community volunteers from Lubbock and surrounding areas to assist with archaeological field excavation, matrix washing, and lab cataloging at Lubbock Lake Landmark during the summer season. Volunteers work 8 am‑4:30 pm, Tuesday‑Saturday, and must contribute at least 60 hours. It is open to youth 13+ (field work 15+) and adults, offering hands‑on experience in archaeology.
