non-mainstream

The Perth Film Society screens non-mainstream world films that larger cinemas often overlook, aiming to broaden access to diverse cinema. Open to film lovers of all backgrounds, the society meets regularly at Perth Theatre's Joan Knight Studio. Run by enthusiasts and supported by local businesses, it offers a community-driven alternative to commercial cinemas.
