Die Kirche wurde im 13. Jahrhundert größtenteils aus Feldsteinen erbaut. Der hölzerne Glockenturm wurde um 1701 angebaut; um 1875 wurden die Feldsteine an der Südseite durch Backsteine ersetzt.
