Handbell Choir
Handbell Choir at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne rehearses Thursdays and plays monthly.
The Handbell Choir at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne welcomes volunteers of all skill levels with no audition required. Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 201, running from Labor Day through Memorial Day. The choir performs once a month during worship services, contributing to the church's music ministry alongside the Chancel Choir and other ensembles. Participation offers a sense of camaraderie and spiritual connection, as members learn and ring together as part of the faith community. The group uses a six-octave set of Malmark handbells and tone chimes, and its schedule aligns with the church's broader music program, which includes a renowned concert series and historic pipe organs. All are invited to join this inclusive musical fellowship.
