Immanuel Mar Thoma Parish Choir in Gandhinagar, a church choir serving worship through song.

The Immanuel Mar Thoma Parish Choir was established on April 5, 2018, and is registered under the Department of Sacred Music and Communications of the Marthoma Syrian Church. Currently blessed with 49 members, the choir operates under the experienced leadership of Choir Master Mr. George Thomas K (Prasad). Its primary role is to assist the Vicar in Holy Qurbana and worship services by providing chants and worship songs, thereby enhancing the divine experience for the congregation and adding beauty to the service. Drawing inspiration from the biblical tradition where the tribe of Levi and King David appointed singers to minister day and night in the tabernacle and temple, the choir views its service as a ministry to glorify God through song. During the festive season of Christmas, the choir plays an indispensable role in the Christmas Carol Service and actively participates in KECF and Centre Christmas Carol Singing functions annually, aiming to make the glorification of God both an inward experience and an outward outreach. Choir practices are held every Saturday from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mar Thoma Centre.
