兴国县江背镇高寨村老年协会成立于1972年，是中国首个农村基层老年协会，在老龄事业发展中具有里程碑意义。该协会于2023年3月完成社会组织登记，并建立了高寨老年协会历史文化展厅。作为全国老龄系统先进集体，协会曾荣获“全国老龄系统先进集体”称号，并多次代表县级和市级老年协会参加省、国家级会议。自1992年获得“生产养老先进集体创新奖”以来，协会在组织建设、活动丰富化及人才发展方面持续进步。其组织体系不断完善，场馆建设日益健全，成为连接党组织、政府与广大老年群众的重要桥梁。2022年接受省级评估后，协会在功能发挥和能力建设上进一步优化，并于2023年1月被人力资源和社会保障部及全国老龄工作委员会表彰为国家级先进集体。协会致力于挖掘“银发力量”，释放“银发活力”，为基层老龄社会治理贡献力量。

Founded in 1972, this association is the country's first rural grassroots senior citizens' association. It completed registration as a social organization in March 2023 and established a History and Culture Exhibition Room. The group has received multiple national awards, including 'National Advanced Collective in the Aging System', and serves as a bridge between the government and elderly people in Gaozhai Village, Jiangbei Town, Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province.
