Film club meeting monthly in Johannesburg for screenings and networking.

The First Wednesday Film Club brings together filmmakers, industry experts, and cinephiles in Johannesburg every first Wednesday of the month at Atlas Studios. For over 20 years, this gathering has served as the city’s film community hub, offering exclusive screenings of films often unseen on mainstream circuits, interactive Q&A sessions with creators, and diversified networking opportunities in a relaxed creative atmosphere. Whether you are a filmmaker, industry professional, or simply a film enthusiast, the club provides a space to spark new ideas, forge meaningful connections, and celebrate the magic of cinema. Refreshments are included, making it an ideal evening for inspiration and collaboration.
