Johannesburg South Garden Club

The Johannesburg South Garden Club brings together gardening enthusiasts in the southern suburbs of Johannesburg to share knowledge and celebrate plants. Founded in 1973, the club meets on the third Saturday and last Tuesday of each month, except December, featuring guest speakers on gardening topics and visits to local gardens and nurseries. Saturday meetings include a friendly competition where members display their plants or flowers, judged with points awarded and annual prizes for section winners. Open to all ages, the club fosters fellowship among gardeners while providing a welcoming space to learn and grow. Meetings take place at The Geelhout Room in the Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park, offering a central location for members from areas across southern Johannesburg.
