Jesus Youth Kollam offers faith formation, marriage preparation, and Catholic youth ministry.

Jesus Youth Kollam is a local initiative of the international Catholic youth movement, dedicated to helping young people live a Christ-centered life through prayer, the Word of God, and fellowship. The group operates as a network of vibrant small groups focused on serving children, college students, parishioners, and the poor. A core component of their ministry is Faith Formation, which includes Sunday Catechesis to deepen contact with Jesus Christ and inform candidates for initiation into the Church. They also lead the Family Apostolate, conducting Marriage Preparation Courses twice a month to guide couples toward a happy, Christian value-centric family life, covering topics such as financial planning, family prayer, and moral upbringing. Additionally, the group supports the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, emphasizing the 'baptism in the Spirit' and organizing get-togethers for couples to share life experiences. Led by Rev. Dr. Shajan Varghese, Rev. Sr. Dheepa, and Mrs. Jancy, Jesus Youth Kollam aims to equip families and individuals to face daily challenges while promoting healthy lifestyles and spiritual transformation within the Diocese of Quilon.
