Kyoto City Junior Children's Choir, founded in 1958, is a public children's choir in Kyoto.

The Kyoto City Junior Children's Choir was established in 1958 as the first public children's choir operated by a municipality in Japan. The group currently includes more than 200 members ranging from fourth-grade elementary school students to third-grade junior high school students residing in Kyoto City. These young singers gather to perform together as a whole ensemble or in various subgroups. The choir organizes separate groups based on different age ranges to tailor their activities. Additionally, they maintain a specially selected group known as "Hibiki" for distinguished members. The organization is actively expanding its scope of activities and is committed to embracing new challenges with earnest determination. Their goal is to achieve further growth and progress through these ambitious endeavors, continuing their legacy as a pioneering institution in Japanese municipal children's music.
