The Beacon
The Beacon is a volunteer organization in Madison/Dane County dedicated to serving homeless individuals by providing essential services, meals, and support. Volunteers are welcome to join and can choose from various roles including cooking, serving food, laundry assistance, computer lab support, and shuttle driving.

Weekly or monthly basis (services available 365 days a year from 8am to 5pm)
Joining
Membership
Complete an application, attend a 45-60 minute orientation, shadow an experienced volunteer, and schedule shifts.
