4th Newall Green Guide Unit

The 4th Newall Green Guide Unit is a Girlguiding group based in south Manchester, serving the communities of Baguley, Northenden, Sharston, and Woodhouse Park. It caters to children aged 0–12, women, and young people aged 13–25, focusing on community development, education, and health and wellbeing. Through its activities, the unit offers opportunities for girls and young women to develop skills, build confidence, and engage with their local area. Community development is fostered through involvement in local projects, while education is promoted via learning experiences. Health and wellbeing are central, with an emphasis on physical activity and mental health. The unit operates as part of the national Girlguiding organization but tailors its programs to the needs of its local community.
