A Thousand Hands of Love CIC is a community interest company based in Manchester that works with people experiencing racial inequalities, children aged 0–12, and young people aged 13–25. The group focuses on education, race equality, health and wellbeing, including mental health. They operate across many neighborhoods in Manchester such as Cheetham, Crumpsall, Higher Blackley, Moston, Ancoats and Beswick, Clayton and Openshaw, Deansgate, Gorton and Abbey Hey, Piccadilly, Ardwick, Hulme, Longsight, Moss Side, Rusholme, Chorlton, Chorlton Park, Didsbury East, Didsbury West, Fallowfield, Levenshulme, Old Moat, Whalley Range, Withington, Baguley, Brooklands, and Sharston, as well as across Greater Manchester. Their work encompasses educational programs, initiatives that address race and ethnicity, and activities that promote health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on mental health. By engaging with local communities, they aim to foster inclusion, understanding, and overall wellness.
