Group Fitness at Melbourne Uni Sport offers diverse exercise classes for University of Melbourne staff and students.

Group Fitness at Melbourne Uni Sport provides a wide variety of group exercise classes at the University of Melbourne, catering to both new and experienced participants. The program includes popular Les Mills formats such as BodyAttack, BodyBalance, BodyPump, BodyStep, BodyCombat, Les Mills Core, Les Mills Grit Strength, RPM, and Sprint, alongside Clinical Pilates, Les Mills Pilates, traditional Pilates, Primal Movement, Muay Thai Circuit, HIIT, Tai Chi, Vinyasa Yoga, and Iyengar Yoga. Free classes are available for University of Melbourne staff and students, with first-time users required to visit a facility 10 to 15 minutes before their initial session to set up a profile and gain access to the online booking system. Bookings can be made up to 48 hours before class start times, and participants must check in at reception prior to entering the studio, with towels compulsory for every session. Entry is not permitted five minutes after the advertised start time, and equipment-limited classes such as BodyPump, BodyStep, and Cycling close once all gear is allocated. Members also receive a 10 percent discount on a Les Mills+ online subscription for home workouts. Health guidelines advise seeking medical clearance for any physical conditions or pregnancy, informing instructors of concerns, wearing appropriate attire, and following instructor cues for safety.
