Melbourne Contemporary Choir (MCCHOIR)

Melbourne Contemporary Choir (MCCHOIR) is a diverse and inclusive community of singers in Melbourne dedicated to creativity, excellence, and connection through music. Based in Coburg, the group focuses on contemporary music, ranging from soaring ballads to uplifting anthems. The choir has performed at high-profile events, including a collaboration with Josh Groban at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the Sydney Road Street Party in Brunswick, and Run Melbourne. Their 2026 season, titled the MCC Billions Club, celebrates global pop hits with over one billion streams from artists such as The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Adele, and Lady Gaga. MCCHOIR offers a supportive environment for both new and returning members to grow their confidence and vocal technique. The group rehearses weekly during school terms on Monday evenings from 7-9pm in Coburg, and they also host extended three-hour open sessions in Coburg North that include vocal coaching and repertoire learning.
