The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC) is dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship and economic development within New York State, positioning itself as the state's largest African American Chamber of Commerce. The organization focuses on advocacy, business development, networking, and providing access to opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners across the region. LIAACC recently co-organized the inaugural National Entrepreneur Summit and Expo in Queens, which served as a powerful platform connecting diverse sectors of the business community, including corporate leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders. The event highlighted the resilience and strength of small businesses while offering meaningful discussions, educational workshops, and networking opportunities to help participants grow. Rose Ward, Vice President of LIAACC, emphasized that the summit created a learning environment where business owners could connect with experienced professionals to build strategic partnerships. Ann Dumay, the Nassau County Director, noted that the organization provides essential support, guidance, and connections for both emerging and established businesses. Through its partnership with the African American Small Business Foundation and the New York City Minority Small Business Chamber of Commerce, LIAACC continues to foster trade, commerce, and economic growth, aiming to help entrepreneurs transform ideas into sustainable businesses that strengthen families and communities.
