History
Die Kirche wurde um 1250 von den Franziskanern als Klosterkirche erbaut und war ursprünglich dem hl. Franziskus geweiht. Nach der Aufhebung des Klosters 1561 und der Rückkehr der Franziskaner 1686 wurde die Kirche wieder als Seelsorgezentrum genutzt. 1802 wurde das Kloster durch die Säkularisation aufgehoben, und die Seelsorge übernahm ein Weltpriester.
