The International Women’s Club (IWC) Oslo is a community group dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, social networking, and helping new members understand Norway and its culture. The club is open to everyone interested in fostering friendships through various activities, monthly Coffee Mornings, and social events. IWC Oslo has no religious, political, or commercial affiliations and prides itself on creating a peaceful environment for all members. The club evolved from the original Petroleum Women’s Club (PWC) and has expanded to include women from international backgrounds in Oslo and surrounding areas. In 2010, PWC became the International Club Oslo Norway (ICON), and in 2017, the club adopted its current name, IWC Oslo, to reflect its legacy of embracing women from the international community. IWC Oslo offers a variety of group activities, regular coffee mornings, social events, and opportunities for members to create or lead group activities or become committee members. The club provides a gateway for members to meet new people and be actively involved in a friendly and fun environment.
