The Circle offers an open forum for non-traditional, nature-based religions at Salem.

The Circle is a student-led organization at Salem that provides an open forum for students who practice or are interested in non-traditional and nature-based religions. As part of the campus’s spiritual life offerings, the group creates a welcoming space where participants can explore diverse spiritual paths, share experiences, and find community without adhering to conventional religious structures. The Circle operates alongside other student-led groups such as Chi Alpha Campus Ministries and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, reflecting a broader commitment to interfaith dialogue and inclusive spiritual exploration on campus. While the group does not prescribe specific doctrines, it encourages personal reflection, mutual support, and the celebration of seasonal and special events that honor a variety of traditions. Students seeking a place to discuss alternative spiritualities, engage in mindfulness practices, or simply connect with peers on a similar journey will find The Circle a supportive environment.
