The Salem Senior Center offers a wide range of activities, classes, and social events for senior citizens in Salem, VA. It provides fitness classes, card games, dance, arts and crafts, and day/overnight trips. All seniors are welcome to participate.

History
The senior program began in 1972 under the Salem Recreation Commission. In 1974, the current house at 110 Union Street opened for seniors, with an addition in 1979. The program has been funded by the City of Salem since 1976.
