Student Christian Movement of India unit at Serampore College supporting theological students.

The Student Christian Movement of India, Serampore College Unit, serves as an independent body within the Serampore College community, dedicated to fostering the spiritual, physical, and intellectual growth of its students. Established in July 2023 with the theme of practicing justice, the Unit operates under the guidance of Faculty Advisor Rev. Sibi Mathew and a team of elected office bearers including President Ms. Tovikali Jimomi-BD IV, Secretary Mr. Sam Lalhrietsang Inbuon-BD III, and Treasurer Ms. Christina Malsawmkini-BD II. The group actively organizes seminars, music and language classes, and free health clinics to uplift student welfare. As part of the broader Serampore College community, which has maintained an ecumenical character for over 200 years, the Unit collaborates with the Theology Society and Chapel & Devotional Life committees to facilitate campus social work, cultural programs, and regular worship services. The Unit also supports the diverse student body comprising 170 theology students from various denominations, states, and regions, ensuring they remain engaged in a community rich in fellowship, prayer, and service to the church in the nation.
