History
The Simi Valley Orchestras began in 2023 with a special performance celebrating the 50th anniversary of Little House on the Prairie in Simi Valley. What was intended as a one-time community orchestra quickly grew into something far greater, drawing 92 musicians together for a single event. From that moment, the vision expanded to develop youth musicians, create structured ensembles, add a choir, and establish a professional-level symphony.
