Faith Community Church in South Dum Dum is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Faith Community Church, located in South Dum Dum, is a congregation affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. The church holds a strong commitment to the Scriptures, viewing both the Old and New Testaments as the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the ultimate authority for Christian faith and life. Their belief centers on one God, perfectly eternal and existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They affirm that Jesus Christ is both true God and true man, who died on the cross as a sacrifice for sin, rose bodily from the dead, and now serves as the High Priest and Advocate at the right hand of God. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is seen as essential for convicting, regenerating, guiding, and empowering believers for godly living and service. Humanity is created in God's image but fell into sin, meaning salvation and spiritual life are obtained only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. The shed blood of Jesus and His resurrection provide the sole ground for justification and salvation for those who believe, making them children of God. Water baptism and the Lord's Supper are observed as ordinances by the church but are not considered means of salvation. The true Church consists of all persons regenerated by the Holy Spirit through saving faith in Jesus Christ, united in the Body of Christ. Only such members are eligible for membership in the local church, which governs its own affairs under Christ. The church also believes in the personal, premillennial, and imminent coming of Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment of the believer and the unbeliever.
