Sydney Tech Meetups

Casual tech meetup in Sydney for all skill levels to chat, eat, and drink.

This group brings together tech enthusiasts of every stripe in Sydney—from students and industry professionals to hobbyists and the simply curious. There are no barriers to entry; whether you're a developer, engineer, data scientist, AI specialist, or just love tinkering, you'll find a welcoming table. Conversations range from the latest frameworks and languages to project help, and can just as easily veer into playful debates like whether cats are better than dogs. The meetups are held at Mountain Goat, where a happy hour special offers $5 beer and wine until 7pm, and a $20 food-and-beer deal runs all night for those who want a bite. The atmosphere is casual, with an emphasis on sharing stories and enjoying good company over a drink. The group's active calendar includes 8 upcoming events and 139 past meetups, showing a vibrant community that keeps coming back. Whether you're looking to network, learn, or simply unwind with like-minded people, this is the place to be.
