Tokyo Linux Users Group connects Linux and open-source enthusiasts in Tokyo.

Non-profit organization Tokyo Linux Users Group holds physical or online meetings in both Japanese and English. TLUG members share knowledge about Linux, open-source software, and other interesting projects that members are working on, including those unrelated to Linux. Established in 1994 at TWICS, Japan's only ISP at the time, under the name LINUX, the group has been wrapped in an exciting atmosphere from its very beginning. Many engineers have participated to learn and share information on using Linux. One of the early members recalled it as feeling like everyone was taming a networked high-tech jungle from the edge of the frontier, describing it as wonderful.
