Women in Technology Japan: Tokyo community empowering women in IT with English and Japanese support.

Women in Technology Japan is a community dedicated to empowering women in the Japanese IT industry, fostering diversity and entrepreneurship within the tech sector. While the broader Tokyo tech scene is becoming increasingly international, this group specifically aims to increase the number of women working in technology. The organization supports women in various roles, from entry-level to leadership positions, addressing the significant gender gap that persists in Japan's IT field. Activities and events are conducted in both English and Japanese, making the community accessible to Japanese women and those learning the language. The mission is to create an environment where women can thrive, share experiences, and build professional networks. By advocating for diversity and supporting female entrepreneurs, the group works to break down barriers and encourage more women to pursue careers in technology. This inclusive approach ensures that participants can engage comfortably regardless of their language proficiency or experience level, contributing to a more balanced and dynamic tech ecosystem in Tokyo.
