Die Kirche wurde um das Jahr 1200 auf einer kleinen Warft gebaut und besitzt die älteste Kirchturmglocke in Schleswig-Holstein. Der harmonische Kirchraum ist mit dem Schnitzaltar und den Kreuzbalken sehenswert.
