Varanasi Animal Rescue offers meaningful volunteering opportunities for locals and tourists alike to support animals in need. Whether you want to become a Foster Dog Parent to provide a temporary loving home for adoptable puppies, or help out at the clinic with feeding, exercise, therapy, and attention during their healing journey, your time makes a difference. Short-term and long-term helpers are welcome, and new foster parents receive free training and mentorship. For those living in local neighborhoods, Community Leaders help feed street dogs, share information about Animal Birth Control and rabies vaccinations, and can train to become First Aid Responders for street animal emergencies. Additionally, supporters from anywhere in the world can contribute as Remote Volunteers by utilizing skills such as content writing, editing, marketing, video production, design, engineering, data analysis, translation, grant writing, earned media, and desk research to assist Varanasi’s animals.
