Crafts & Making in Várzea Grande

Located in Santa Laura neighborhood, this church hall offers a welcoming environment for community groups to meet on Sundays for breakfast, age-based activities, manual work, and food collection campaigns. Originally started in a tarpaulin shack in 2005, it now has proper facilities including bathrooms, a kitchen, and classrooms for lessons, serving about 60 families in an affectionate atmosphere.

Founded as a spiritual house, this venue welcomes community groups on Saturdays for lectures, craft courses, a community garden, and food and book distribution campaigns. It offers an open-door policy where visitors can choose activities that align with their interests, accommodating people from all backgrounds.
