History
Der erste gotische Bau der Pfarrkirche geht vermutlich auf das Jahr 1415 zurück. Nach einem Ringbrand begannen die Viechtacher 1729 mit dem Bau der heutigen Stadtpfarrkirche, die 1763 aufgrund finanzieller Schwierigkeiten erst vollendet wurde.
