History
Founded on May 15, 2001, originally named Gospelchor St. Marien, the group changed its name to Joyful Voices in October 2003. It has grown into a strong community with members ranging from students to retirees, performing at festivals, local events, and weddings, and traveling to destinations like Usedom, Norderney, and Denmark. Christoph Grothaus led the choir until the end of 2022, after which Angela Maack took over in January 2023. The group welcomes new singers and is open to the public.
