Centar za mirovne studije (Center for Peace Studies) is a non-profit organization promoting non-violence, social change, and human rights through education, research, and activism. Volunteers support immigrant integration, anti-racism programs, and participate in peace education workshops. Foreign volunteers are accepted on short terms.
Dumovec animal shelter
Dumovec animal shelter cares for unwanted and abandoned dogs and other animals. Volunteers help walk dogs, socialize puppies and cats, and assist with adoption activities. Adult volunteers and minors aged 15+ are welcome; foreign volunteers can volunteer short or long term.
